Our 4 points plan for a sustainable online trade

1. Repair instead of throwing away

We believe that defective items should not simply be thrown away. A large part of all damaged products can usually be repaired with little effort, since often only small individual parts no longer work. We live this philosophy at our location in Münster. For that we have Especially a workshop in our warehouse, in which defective lights are repaired. In this way, our customers can send their lights free of charge within the warranty period for repair - and even after the warranty period has expired, we offer our repair service against a small allowance. In this way we reduce waste, protecting resources and also create jobs.

2. Compensate for transport emissions

While our shipping partners DPD & GLS already enable climate -neutral transports to the end customer, we ensure that the transport of our goods are neutral from the production to the warehouse CO2, or that the emissions resulted to compensate for by promoting climate projects.

3. Reduce packaging material

To reduce packaging material and waste, we continuously optimize our product packaging to pack all lights more compact. This not only saves packaging material, but also increases the number of articles that can be moved with a single transport between production and deposit. So we can reduce the number of transports and reduce emissions.

4. Sustainable returns

In contrast to other large online retailers, returns are not simply disposed of with us. Thanks to our modern warehouse & return portal, we were able to develop processes in which we check and prepare every incoming return. In addition to a more sustainable use of raw materials, we enable a reduction in waste.
