Why do LED lights have an energy efficiency class from F or G?

The evaluation scale for energy efficiency was revised in 2023 in order to make it clearer and more future -proof. The new classes range from A to G and replace the old A+, A ++ and A +++.

LED lights, which are now rated f or g, were often A +++ and are still extremely efficient. This change does not mean that the products are worse, but that the scale has become stricter. Even LED lights with F or G are among the best on the market and continue to offer high energy savings. The new scale ensures that consumers can better compare and recognize energy -efficient products.

Can uplight and downlight be controlled separately?

No, when you switch on the light, it shines both upwards and downwards. Separate control is not possible.

Are the light sources included?

Yes, the luminaire comes with permanently installed LEDs. We only use high-quality components for our LED parts, which guarantee an extremely long service life. Furthermore, all components are covered by our five-year guarantee. If, contrary to expectations, a defect should occur, we will repair the luminaire free of charge - without throwing it away. In this way, we conserve resources and meet our sustainability targets.

Which protocol does the light use?

The light works with a WiFi+BLE protocol. This means you don't need a ZigBee hub or similar to integrate the light into your smart home, just a WiFi router.

Muss ich die Leuchte unbedingt mit der App verbinden?

Nein, musst du nicht. Die Leuchte kann auch nur mit der Fernbedienung gesteuert werden. Wir empfehlen allerdings, die Leuchte dennoch mit der Tuya App zu verbinden, um keine Firmware-Updates für den Treiber zu verpassen.
